Zanesville Stoneware Ebonello Fan Vase #851.
This interesting Zanesville Stoneware vase was produced between 1910 and the 1920's. It is a wonderful example with no crazing, no chips, no cracks, and no restoration. This glossy glaze combination is interesting with the black over gold and letting the black freely drip down into the yellow. This vase is unmarked although it does have the shape number of 851 imprinted on the base, but we feel the attribution is an obvious one to any collector.
It is an excellent above-average piece that displays well and will not disappoint. Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind or external crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. There is no evidence of repair or modification was detected.
