The Weller Pottery Company was a big hit at the 1904 World's Fair. The fair, held in St. Louis, celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase. This incredible purchase from France in 1803 extended the boundaries of the United States from the Mississippi to the crest of the Rocky Mountains; over 800,000 square miles. Weller built an actual model pottery at the fair investing over $30,000 in the project.

This souvenir, here featuring President Andrew Jackson, was made and distributed free of charge. Other presidents were featured as well. This is a unique piece of Weller pottery. Wonderful collectible piece from the 1904 St Louis World's Fair. Perfect gift or add to your own collection. Displays well.
