Here we have a unique 13 3/4 inch tall Glazed Dickensware carved monk. This is a fairly rare and unusual piece in that it has a green glaze background as most appeared with a blusih background. This is artist signed by Gibson. This is a great collector item that would look wonderful on a fireplace mantle. The base has a little over glaze which sometimes causes the base to not sit flat.
Wonderful vase in that it is no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Very minor crazing. Possible repair on rim (see second to last picture). Glaze flake on side. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections. Artist signed Gibson.
