Roseville Pottery introduced the Carnelian I line around 1910 and has dripping glazes in shapes based on classic vessels. Colors include gray, dull green, blue and an ochre yellow. Ink stamps are common, but some pieces may be unmarked.
Here we have an exceptional example of a 7 inch tall Carnelian I handled vase shape number 311-7. The handles have a wonderful curve to them and are in excellent condition. This is the perfect piece for any decor. This piece was repaired in the factory and can be seen in the last picture. The repair is under the glaze and only near the base on one side.
Wonderful vase in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. FREE from crazing. Ink stamp. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.
