Roseville Pottery 1915 Donatello Small Planter #580-4

The Donatello line was designed by Frederick Rhead. This line has a lighter green with beige fluting. A frieze of cherubs encircles the vessels with a brown background. Pieces are usually unmarked, or had an "Rv" ink stamp.

Here we have a wonderful example of a 4 inch tall Donatello planter. Nice crisp mold and color. Wonderful piece from the Donatello line. Perfect addition to any collection.

Outstanding planter in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs or modification. No Crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.
