Roseville Pottery 1915 Donatello Round Bowl #227

The Donatello line was designed by Frederick Rhead. This line has a lighter green with beige fluting. A frieze of cherubs encircles the vessels with a brown background. Pieces are usually unmarked, or had an "Rv" ink stamp.

This a wonderful example of a 5 inch wide Donatello bowl. Nice crisp mold and color. Wonderful piece from the Donatello line.

Outstanding bowl in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. no repairs or restoration. FREE from crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.
