Rookwood Falling Floral Panel vase, Matte Rose Gray, Frogskin, glaze.
This outstanding Arts and Crafts style Rookwood vase from 1931 is a stunning example from that period. The glaze is expertly applied, and appears to be completely without crazing. One of the best examples of Rose Matte glaze we have seen. Shape number 2123, it displays well, and is a great piece to accent nearly any decor. This shape was designed by Sara Sax.
It is free from chips, cracks or repairs and is in excellent original condition. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. Authentic and signed appropriately with the Rookwood symbol and shape number.
