Peters and Reed Pottery 1924 Green Mat Egyptian Wall Pocket #81

$185.00
When King Tut's tomb was opened in 1922, everyone was fascinated with Egyptian motif items. The pottery companies joined in on this craze. This line was produced in a matt green glaze and a sand Pereco glaze. The pieces are quite subtle, attractive and relatively unknown.

Here we have a fine example of the Peters and Reed Egyptian wall pocket. Wonderful geometric design in a very nice green mat glaze. Wonderful addition to any collection. A true pleasure to see. Displays perfectly from all sides and angles.

Excellent wall pocket in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze and free of repairs and crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.

Authentic Peters and Reed. Peters and Reed did not mark or sign their pottery wares. All images are original and un-edited.
