Peters and Reed Pottery 1920s Marbelized Camo Column Vase #56

$106.79
The Peters & Reed pottery was formally incorporated in 1901. Their pottery was primarily made of red clay from the Zanesville, Ohio area. Peters & Red art pottery is known for their remarkable glazes and glaze treatments of which Marbelized is on the list.

Here we have a fine example of a 9 1/8 inch tall Column vase. The glaze colors on this vase are similar to camouflage colors which are applied over a red clay body. This vase has a high gloss glaze which gives it a wonderful shine. These are not as common as they once were.

Wonderful condition in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no restoration, with very minor underglaze crazing. One glaze miss near top and see in last picture. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.

Authentic Peters and Reed Pottery. All images are original and unedited.
