Niloak Pottery 1910-24 Mission Swirl Step Design Candle Holder Shape 111

$235.00
The Niloak Pottery began making arts and crafts ceramics in 1910 as the Eagle Pottery Company. They are best known for the "Mission Swirl" line, a marble neriage style. Niloak also produced castware from molds, mostly planters and vases until they went bankrupt in 1947. As the premiere manufacturer of art pottery in Arkansas, vintage Niloak Pottery is highly collectible, especially to those who enjoy the mission swirl line. These pieces fit perfectly with a prairie-style decorative scheme, and the prices are average when compared to many other period potteries.

Here we have an excellent 8 inch tall Mission Swirl Candle Holder Shape 111 with a step design. A fantastic piece of prairie-style art pottery that is taller than most Niloak candle holders we have seen. Great decorator piece. Unique swirl design.

Outstanding candle holder in wonderful subtle earth-tones. Exceptional piece in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. FREE from crazing. FREE of repair or restoration. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
