Muncie Pottery Vase, 1930's Green over Lilac Handled Vase #419

$85.00
Muncie Pottery started production of art pottery in 1919 as the Muncie Clay Products Company. Muncie Pottery started as a subsidiary of the German-American Clay Company. Muncie Pottery like so many of the other American art pottery companies closed its doors as a victim of the depression in 1939.

This Muncie vase is glazed in a beautiful pastel green over lilac. This is a lovely double handled vase so typical of the 1930's. Great arts & crafts piece. Beautiful shape and color. Displays exceptionally well.

Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze and free from crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect and repairs or restoration on this piece. The white spots are studio light reflections.
