Muncie Pottery 1920s Matte Blue Over White Large Pitcher #136

Here we have an outstanding example of a 11 inch tall Muncie pitcher done in a beautiful matte blue over white glaze. We believe this to be a lemonade pitcher as it has a fairly narrow spout. Wonderful glaze design adds depth to this pitcher. Really a unique piece that anyone would be proud to call their own. The decorator did an exceptional job with this glaze as the colors blend so well together. No harsh lines or color breaks.

Exceptional pitcher in that it has no damage, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze with very minor crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect any repairs or modification. The white spots are studio light reflections.
