This 6 inch tall 'Pepo' vase was designed by well known designer Reuben Haley. Pepo is Latin for melon. We believe this shape to belong to the figural line of Muncie pottery which includes abstract organic forms reminiscent of melons and gourds. Great glaze and wonderful form. Perfect vase to add to any collection.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no scratches to glaze. Little to no crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
