Frankoma Pottery Desert Gold Planter #22A

$35.00

Frankoma was founded by John Frank in Norman, Oklahoma, in 1933. He moved the company to Sapulpa in 1938, only to soon rebuild that factory after a fire later that year. Affordable dinnerware and serving pieces, mugs, novelties, memorial figures, Route 66 items, limited editions, commemorative, souvenirs--Frankoma Pottery has served the needs of everyday life since it's beginning.

This is a wonderful Frankoma footed planter in a Desert Gold glaze on Sapulpa clay. I believe this piece to be from the 1970s since the clay is red. The bottom of the vase shows the red color of the clay and the Frankoma and number 22A. This is a must have for any Frankoma collector!

Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze and free from crazing and repairs. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
