Boys Town Pottery 1940s Green O Pumpkin Canoe with Insert

Boys Town Pottery started production of art pottery in the 1940s and ended in the 1950s. The ceramic arts program was started by William Wilkins and became the best ceramics arts program in the country.

Here we have an excellent example of a Boys Town Pottery Canoe with insert in a wonderful green over pumpkin glaze. The canoe is 11 1/4 inches long and is in outstanding condition. The matching insert is in wonderful condition as well. Be sure to add this to your collection before someone else does!!

Exceptional piece in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs. little to no crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
