Weller Pottery 1914 Clinton Ivory Art Nouveau Vase
Weller produced numerous lines of pottery between 1895 and 1945. The company permanently closed in 1948. The Clinton Ivory line was introduced before 1914. This line introduced new and interesting forms, many are in the Art Nouveau style and simply glazed in ivory with sepia accents.
This particular Clinton Ivory vase has a nice art nouveau design that is repeated on the other side of this tapered cylindrical vase. Great decorator piece. Wonderful to display and perfect for your collection.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Minor underglaze crazing on this wonderful piece. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.
