Weller Pottery 1898-1918 Grapes Eocean 2 Handle Mug Stein

Weller's Eocean was produced from 1898 through sometime between 1915-1918. It is most often found in a shaded gray background but upon rare occasion you will find a piece in shades of pink, green, blue or yellow. This is a beautiful Eocean mug with a beautifully executed hand painting of grapes on a vine. The grapes and leaves are extremely well detailed with outstanding color. The handles are in marvelous condition. This is the perfect mug to add to a Weller collection. A perfect decorator piece.

Displays well from all sides. Exceptional mug in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Very minor underglaze crazing on this wonderful mug. It may appear more pronounced due to the macro lens used for the photography. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect and repairs or modifications to this piece. The white spots are studio light reflections.

Please review the high resolution pictures because they are part of the description. The pictures are taken with a macro lens which show exceptional detail. Please review each picture carefully and contact with any questions.
