Roseville Pottery 1945 Tropical Green Freesia Console Bowl #467-10
The Roseville Pottery company introduced the Freesia line in 1945. The Freesia line features blossoms in fanning clusters of white, yellow and lavender which wrap around the body of the vessels. The background of these pots are blended blues, greens and brown-orange-russet. Most marks are raised while some may be impressed.
Here we have a wonderful Tropical Green large fruit bowl. The freesia flowers appear in two colors white and purple and are in wonderful condition. The color of this bowl is a beautiful deep green. This would be great to hold fruit or just about anything. This bowl would make a wonderful addition to your pottery collection.
Exceptional bowl in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs, no restoration. It may appear more pronounced due to the macro lens used for the photography. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
Authentic Roseville Pottery and marked. All images are original and un-edited.
