Roseville Pottery 1942 Nile Green Peony Cornucopia Basket #377-8

Roseville pottery created the Peony line in 1942 which features large irregular flower clusters on textured backgrounds. The background colors included salmon and green, green and tan or gold with brown-green. According to the original Roseville advertisement, the colors are referred to as Coral, Sienna Brown and Nile Green. All pieces feature a raised mark and style number.

Our 7 1/2 inch tall basket is the pleasing Nile green with big white flowers and green leaves. Perfect mid-size basket with a textured background. The white flowers are very fluffy. Perfect vase to signify spring.

Exceptional piece in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze and FREE from crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. No evidence of repair or modification were detected. The white spots are studio light reflections.
