Roseville Pottery 1935 Green Pine Cone Tray #499

The Roseville Pine Cone pattern was originally produced in 1935. This pattern is believed to have save the company due to its popularity. This was reintroduced by Roseville in 1953 to spur sales. The Pine Cone design is very realistic with handles in the form of branches joined to a pinecone with green pine needles protruding from the cone.

This Green Pine Cone key tray is an excellent example of this pattern. Wonderful crisp mold with great color. No issues detected on this ash receiver. Ready to display. Bring the pines inside with this marvelous piece!

Exceptional tray in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. No evidence of repair or modification was detected. The white spots are studio light reflections.
