Roseville Pottery 1935 Blue Pine Cone Round Vase Jardiniere #632-5
The Roseville Pine Cone pattern was originally produced in 1935. This pattern is believed to have save the company due to its popularity. Roseville pottery provides the perfect setting for spring flowers. This is "livable"pottery and has true distinction of a charming and usable creation. The Pine Cone design is very realistic with handles in the form of branches joined to a pine cone with green pine needles protruding from the cone.
Here we have an outstanding example of a 5 inch tall BLUE Pine Cone round vase that was produced in the 1930's. Blue is the highly collectible glaze out of the 3 that were produced. We can tell this was produced in 1930's by the number of the piece. Bring the pines inside with this marvelous bowl! Outstanding glaze on a exceptional mold.
Exceptional planter in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no crazing, no repairs, no restoration. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process - glaze lightness near base. I cannot detect any repairs or restoration on this piece. The white spots are studio light reflections.
All images are original and un-edited. Authentic vintage Roseville pottery - marked.
