Roseville Pottery 1934 Brown Luffa Round Vase #255-6
The Luffa line was produced in 1934. There are large pointed ivy-type leaves with a small flower in either white or yellow all on a ridged background. This line has a satin matt finish over a blending of terra cotta, green, brown and blue. Most of the designs are a basic round style with small pointy handles.
Here we have an excellent example of a 6 inch tall Brown Luffa round vase. The handles are in excellent condition. This is a great collectible middle period line sure to please. Outstanding piece sure to please the first time or seasoned collector.
Exceptional piece in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. I cannot detect any crazing, repairs or restoration. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
Authentic vintage Roseville Pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
