Roseville Pottery 1915 Mottled Blue Carnelian II Scroll Handle Vase #316-10
The Roseville Pottery 1915 Carnelian II line is heavier and simpler in appearance when compared to their other pottery lines. The mottled, dripping glazes include amber, green, purple, red, pink, teal and mauve. Pieces are unmarked or have a paper label. This is a great collectible line which is a perfect example of the Arts and Crafts period.
Here we have a fine example of a 10 1/8 inch tall Blue Carnelian II vase. This is a substantial vase with wonderful scroll handles. The sky blue color incorporates various shades with blue and some light pinks with nice blue surrounding the rim. We like to call this glaze "Sea Foam". Perfect arts and crafts style to add to any collection. Excellent antique vase.
Exceptional original condition in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. FREE from crazing. I cannot detect any repairs or restoration on this piece. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.
Guaranteed to be original, vintage Roseville pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
