Roseville Pottery 1910 Carnelian II Purple Red Wall Pocket #1251-8
The Roseville Pottery 1915 Carnelian II line is heavier and simpler in appearance when compared to their other pottery lines. The mottled, dripping glazes include amber, green, purple, red, pink, teal and mauve. Pieces are unmarked or have a paper label. This is a great collectible line which is a perfect example of the Arts and Crafts period.
Here we have an exceptional example of a 8 1/2 inch long mauve, purple, red swirled Carnelian II wall pocket shape number 1251-8. The handles have a wonderful curve to them and are in excellent condition. This is the perfect piece for any collection. Exceptional original condition.
Wonderful piece in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs and FREE from crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
Authentic Roseville Pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
