Roseville Pottery 1905-07 Rozane Woodland Dangling White Flower Vase W14
Roseville Pottery produced the Rozane Woodland design from 1905 through 1906, mainly floral designs incised on clay and then colored on a bisque-like background. This line was produced to resemble the old Chinese Celadon. This line was decorated by the sqraffiti method an then covered with a high gloss glaze and usually done in autumn colors. Many Rozane shapes were used, but there were a few original Woodland shapes. Usually marked Woodland in a wing on the Roazne Ware Wafer.
Here we have an exceptional example of a Woodland vase, with cute white flowers and branches trailing down the body of the vase. The design is different on each side. Perfect decorator piece.
Exceptional vase in that it has no cracks, no scratches to glaze. No repairs or restoration has been detected. Very faint crazing on glazed areas. A few tiny rim nicks. Marked on the bottom with a Rozane Ware wafer seal. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops. Please review each picture carefully and contact with any questions.
Marked and guaranteed to be original, vintage Roseville pottery. Authentic Roseville Pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
