Designed by Kataro Shirayamadani, this Rookwood wall pocket from 1917 displays a wonderful mat blue glaze. This scarce wall pocket in the shape of a resting locust. This form is seldom seen - this is your chance to grab this for your collection. The glaze is expertly applied, and it is completely without crazing.
It is free from chips, cracks or repairs and is in excellent original condition. This does have one glaze miss on the back and a few tiny air pops.Shape number 1636, it displays well, and is a great piece to accent any arts and crafts decor.
