Weller Pottery 1930's Green Elberta Strawberry Pot
Weller Pottery produced the Elberta line in the early 1930's. Some of the forms are molded with a snake-like or pinched design curving around the body, while others have a cupped or pinched rim or curvy handles. This line can be found in various shades of orange to green with some examples found entirely in one solid color. The forms are unusual and vary greatly.
Here we have a seldom seen Weller Elberta strawberry pot. Perfect color. Crisp mold. A very unique and unusual piece. Displays well from all sides.
Exceptional vase in that it has no cracks or no scratches to glaze. I cannot detect any crazing on this piece. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops. I cannot detect any repairs or modifications.
