Weller Pottery 1920's Blended Colored Glaze Jardinière Planter
Not much is known about this Weller Pottery line. Some believe it to be Blended Glaze, some call it Majolica and some call it Colored Glaze. Believed to be produced in the early 1900's around 1915 to 1920. This line is unmarked.
Nice thick glaze in a typical majolica color. The glaze transitions nicely from green to pink to deep brown. Nice floral pattern surrounds the rim in a band. Very nice heavy planter. Displays perfect from all sides.
Wonderful piece in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Minor crazing. Stilt pull. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops. Authentic Weller Pottery.
