Vintage Weller Pottery Vase Pink with Silver Overlay 1930's
There is very little information on this line of Weller Pottery other than the possible years that it was produced. As far as we can tell, this was produced in the 1930's. This is a scarce and unusual piece of Weller pottery to add to any collection.
This is a beautiful example of Weller Silver Overlay. The design of the silver overlay is very delicate and intricate. Both sides are the same design. This is a good size vase standing at 9 1/2 inches. A perfect addition to any collection. Displays well from all angles.
Exceptional vase in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. This does have crazing as can be seen in the pictures. There are two very small pieces of silver missing on a leaf that are barely detectable when viewing the vase. Apparently some tried to polish the silver, that is why the crazing is gray. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. There is no evidence of repair or modification was detected. The white spots are studio light reflections. Dimensions are below. Authentic and appropriately marked Weller Pottery.
H: 9 1/2", Base: 3 7/8" , Rim: 3 3/4"
