Van Briggle Pottery Late 1980s Dusty Rose Pink Tall Vase #264

The Van Briggle Art Pottery is the oldest continuously operating art pottery in the United States, having been established in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1901 by Artus and Anne Van Briggle. Artus had a significant impact on the Art Nouveau movement in the United States, and his pottery is foundational to American Art Pottery. The Van Briggle Pottery Studio closed in spring 2012. Van Briggle vase in the recognizable mulberry glaze.

Here we have a 8 1/2 inch tall Dusty Rose Tall Vase #264 decorated by CB. The design has a southwestern flare and glazed in a light pink with blue highlights. Wonderful execution of this design which was produced in the Late 1980's. Exceptional piece for any collection.

Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, Free from crazing. I cannot detect any repairs or modifications. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
