Thomas Steinman 1983 Amethyst White Feather Vase
According to the Evergreen Studio website "Tom has been creating his contemporary blown glass since 1976. Through the years, he has used personal growth and experimentation to change and form his designs. All his work is free blown glass using a variety of glass colors and rare metals to create his artwork. " This vase was made in May 1983 as inscribed on the bottom of the vase next to the signature.
Beautiful deep rich amethyst with a perfect white feather design. Displays well from all angles. Perfect newer studio glass vase.
There are a few very minor air bubbles and some wear on the bottom of the vase from someone moving the vase around. The bottom picture shows some wear and what looks like a chip but is a signature marking. This vase is very heavy weighing in at 4 pounds! Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. TNo evidence of repair or modification was detected. The white spots are studio light reflections.
Authentic Thomas Steinman Glass. All images are original and un-edited.
