Roseville Pottery 1928 Blue Crystalline Teasel Round Vase #644-4
The Roseville Pottery company produced the Teasel line in 1938. A raised pointed weed looking teasel on long stems are on the body of this entire line. The points continue up to the rim and sometimes over the rim. All pieces in the line have small block handles. Many of the basic background colors are gray, blue, beige, gold, pink or green are complimented with a shading of another color. There are 18 shapes in the entire line. All all marked.
Here we have an outstanding example of a 4 3/4 inch tall Teasel round vase. This vase is glazed in a wonderful blue crystalline with brownish highlighting. The handles are in perfect condition. This is a wonderful piece to add to any home decor.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches and no crazing. I cannot detect any repairs or restorations on this piece. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.
Authentic Roseville Pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
