Roseville Pottery 1915 Tan Mostique Arts and Crafts Low Bowl

The Roseville pottery company introduced the Mostique line between 1915 and 1916. There is approximately 80 style in the Mostique line. Usually they are crudely stylized leaf and floral patterns often in spade shapes with alternating heavy lines and geometric forms. The bodies are a textured gray or tan and most pieces are unmarked. This Mostique bowl is glazed in tan with dots and unique line configurations. This is a wonderful example from the arts and crafts period. Displays well from all angles.

Exceptional bowl in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches and FREE from crazing. I cannot detect any repairs or restorations on this piece. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.Dimensions are below.

Authentic Roseville Pottery.
