Rookwood Pottery Vase Jet Black with Green Interior (Shape #2065), 1924
Rookwood Pottery had many lines that are known as production ware which are usually not artist signed or have unique hand painting. This is a great collectible middle period line sure to please any collector.
Unusual, scarce color of jet black glaze with a green interior. This is a wonderful example of Rookwood pottery. This vase shape and color are very difficult to find. This is a great way to start your collection of Rookwood pottery! Displays well from all sides.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Barely detectable crazing - only in bright light. The white spots on the vase are from the tissue used to wipe it off. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. Please review the high resolution pictures because they are part of the description. The pictures are taken with a macro lens which show exceptional detail. Please review each picture carefully and contact with any questions.
