Rookwood Pottery 1913 Scenic Vellum Plaque Lenore Asbury

This is an exceptional Rookwood vellum plaque decorated by Lenore Asbury in 1913. Her initials are in the lower left hand corner. Originally, this plaque was part of the Humler and Nolan Grover Collection Auction in 1991 and can be seen in that catalog as item number 900. This vellum plaque looks exactly the same, with little to no additional wear. This is the perfect piece to hang in any foyer. Ms Asbury outdid herself with this breathtaking winter scene. This piece will be professionally packed and shipped.

Exceptional vellum plaque in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Minor overall crazing. There are a couple of repairs to the corners that are covered by the frame. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops. Dimensions are below.

All pictures are original and un-edited.
