Here we have an exceptional figurine titled 'Daphne' - a woman in a floral dress with doves. She is a minor figure in Greek mythology known as a naiad - a type of female nymph associated with fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of freshwater. Daphne was transformed into a laurel tree to escape the pursuing Apollo, hense the use the tree on the base .
This piece is a limited edition, 119/250 and comes in the original box with the original packing and framed Certificate of Authenticity, This figurine is from the E series, #1355, Limited Edition in "E" Finish - Mosaic and patterned effects.
