Frankoma Pottery 1960's Prairie Green 1QT Pitcher Juice Cups Dish Sapulpa
Frankoma was founded by John Frank in Norman, Oklahoma, in 1933. He moved the company to Sapulpa in 1938, only to soon rebuild that factory after a fire later that year. Affordable dinnerware and serving pieces, mugs, novelties, memorial figures, Route 66 items, limited editions, commemoratives, souvenirs--Frankoma Pottery has served the needs of everyday life since it's beginning.
This is a wonderful Frankoma drinking set in Prarie Green glaze. This set includes: 1 QT Pitcher, 4 juice cups and 1 baking dish. This glaze color was used on items after 1934. All pieces are in exceptional original condition. I believe these pieces to be from the 1960's since the glaze is a little darker and red clay was used after 1954. The bottom of piece shows the red color of the clay with the number and Frankoma. This is a must have for any Frankoma collector!
Exceptional set in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze and free from crazing and repairs. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
Authentic Frankoma Pottery. All pictures are original and un-edited.
