Jefferson Glass Company 1905 Green Opalescent Heatherbloom Swung Vase #268
The Jefferson Glass Company started in an abandoned factory in Steubenville Ohio in 1900. In 1906 they moved to a new facility in Follansbee WV. The majority of their opalescent glassware was produced between 1901 and 1907. They produced blown and pressed colored glassware and opalescent glass in all the popular colors of the time. They went out of business in 1933.
Here we have an outstanding example of an 11 inch tall Green Opalescent Heatherbloom Swung Vase. This was produced in 1905. A beautiful, unique vase that would be a perfect addition to any home decor. Exceptional original condition and over 100 years old.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches, no repairs, no restoration. I cannot detect any issues with this piece. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
Authentic Jefferson Glass. All images are original and un-edited.
