Greentown Glass 1900's Chocolate Leaf Bracket Spooner
Chocolate Glass is something special. This color of glass was carefully created by a chemical formula by glass chemist Jacob Rosenthal. This pattern named Leaf Bracket by Kamm is also called Caramel Shell by Millard and Caramel Shell and Leaf by Belknap. The Greentown factory termed it Pattern 400. This was the first design to be pured in the new chocolate glass on November 25, 1900. This pattern was strickly a Greentown product.
Before spoon rests, there was a spooner holder. Just tall enough to hold shorter spoons to be used during dinner service. This is a wonderful spooner to add to your collection of chocolate glass. Yours to enjoy for years to come!
Wonderful spooner in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
