Niloak Pottery 1930's Hywood Pink Rose Egyptian Ewer

The Niloak Pottery Co. began as Eagle Pottery in Benton, Arkansas around 1909 and ended pottery production in the 1950s. Niloak is most well known for its Missionware line, also called swirl pottery. In order to capitalize on the Niloak name, the line was changed to Hywood by Niloak. In the summer of 1932, Hyten hired ceramist Rudy Ganz to develop molds to move the company into the castware business.

Here we have a wonderful example of a 7 inch tall Egyptian ewer. A unique piece of art pottery that will be sure to please. Perfect pink Egyptian ewer that will add to your collection.

Exceptional piece in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. FREE from crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect any repairs or modification. The white spots are studio light reflections.

Authentic Hywood pottery. All pictures are original and un-retouched.
