Footnote: The golden era of carnival glass was from about 1905 to the mid-1920's. The iridescent luster on this patterned pressed glass is achieved by spraying the hot surface with metallic salt solutions. Alot of pieces were produced and sold in the major stores of the time like Woolworth. Carnival glass was created to rival the iridescent glass of the time which would be Tiffany. Fancy glass for the common man. The most common color is known as Marigold. Not all pieces were made in all colors.
