Fenton Glass 1975 Off-Hand Hyacinth Feather Vase Barber 186/450 COA
Robert Barber was hired by Fenton in 1975 to begin an artist-in-residence program. The idea was to produce limited off-hand blown glass vases. Each Barber piece had to be individually blown, shaped, decorated and finished manually. Two Fenton craftsmen are credited with making the pieces David Fetty and Delmer Stowasser.
Here we have a 12 1/4 inch tall off-hand Hyacinth Feather vase with a flared top. Only 450 pieces were made. This particular vase is number 186 and comes with original COA signed by Barber, Fenton and Stowasser. A special piece that is sure to have a place of honor in anyone's home. This also has an original Fenton sticker.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
Authentic Fenton Glass. All images are original and un-edited.
