Northwood Glass 1902-25 Four Pillars Lime Green Vase

In 1888, The Northwood Glass Company, located at Martin’s Ferry, OH at the former Union Flint Glass Works, started production. A classic design but still confused with other patterns because of its simplicity. Northwood made Four Pillars in two base sizes: a standard size with a 3 1/8 inch base, and a small size with a 2 7/8 inch base. There is a third size of Four Pillars with a 3 1/4 inch base which is a standard size but from an entirely different mold and believed to be Millersburg.

Here we have an outstanding example of a 11 inch tall Lime Green Four Pillar vase in standard size. This is a very old vase probably close to over 100 years old! Very difficult to find this vase undamaged in this color. What an eye-catching vase! Perfect for any decor.

Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect any issues with this vase. The white spots are studio light reflections.

Authentic Northwood Glass. All images are original and un-edited.
