Imperial Glass 1908 Lime Green Ripple Swung Vase
The Imperial Glass Company was founded in 1901 by Edward Muhleman, with production beginning in 1904. The handmade glasswares were sold worldwide and were usually made of pressed glass patterns. The factory located at 29th Street was labeled as one of the largest glass factories under one roof. Imperial Glass Company closed in 1984.
Here we have a beautiful ripple vase with a wonderful sheen in an intriguing Lime Green. This size, 15 1/2 inches, is the largest that Imperial produced. The sheen alone catches your eye from across the room. This is a beautiful carnival swung vase. A perfect example which displays well from all angles.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches. I cannot detect any defects on this piece. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. Dimensions are below.
Authentic Imperial Carnival Glass.
