1955 McCoy Brown Tree Stump Planter #32

McCoy produced so many planters that it is hard to keep track of them all. This is a wonderful little stump planter. This is a great collectible middle period line sure to please any collector./p>

McCoy Pottery 1955 Brown Tree Stump Planter was made in the 1950s, and is in great condition. The Stump planter commonly has the initials "ST-VH" with a heart. A pleasing high gloss brown color, it is free from cracks, chips, and repairs. An example of this item can be seen on page 188 of the "Warman's 2nd Edition McCoy Pottery" by Mark F. Moran. This is a very cute planter and would look great on your shelf.

Exceptional planter in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Very very minor underglaze crazing on this wonderful vase. It may appear more pronounced due to the macro lens used for the photography. It is marked on the back USA McCoy. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections. Dimensions are below.

H: 4", Base: 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" , Rim: 3 5/8" x 2 3/4"
