1950 Roseville Gray Gardenia 2 Handle Console Bowl #626-6
The Roseville Pottery company introduced the Gardenia line in 1950. The Gardenia line features a wide belt of white blossoms and green leaves evenly wrapped around the vessels. The background colors for the line consist of tan-brown with an orange tint, gray and shades of green. Pieces feature raised marks.
The gardenia flowers are in wonderful condition. Such a beautiful bowl in a neutral color sure to please anyone. This would look beautiful on your kitchen or coffee table. This would be great to hold fruit or just about anything. Perfect ot pair with the Gardenia Bud Vases. Displays well for all angles. This is a beautiful bowl and is waiting for a new home.
Exceptional bowl in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Very very minor underglaze crazing on this wonderful bowl. It may appear more pronounced due to the macro lens used for the photography. Any
non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections. Dimensions are below.
