1926 Nelson McCoy Leaves and Berries Cornucopia

This vase was actually made by The Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Company in 1926 which became Nelson McCoy. All of the brown with green accent pieces produced are known as stoneware. These are heavier and more plain in design than other Nelson McCoy pieces.

This is a wonderful cornucopia style vase with a design known as Leaves and Berries. This plainer style was widely sold but many did not survive. People probably just threw away any of them that were damaged.

Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. I cannot detect any underglaze crazing on this vase. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. Dimensions are below.

H: 6 1/4", Base: 3 1/8" , Rim: 3 3/4"
