1922 Roseville Dahlrose Ovoid Double Handle Vase with Flared Rim
The Roseville Pottery company introduced the Dahlrose line in the 1920s. This line features large daisy-like blossoms with brown centers on a brown textured body. This line only comes in one color which is a textured terra cotta brown with a muddy green at the top and bottom. Pieces are unmarked or have paper labels.
This is an outstanding Dahlrose flared rim vase that I have seen. I can't believe it still has the original factory sticker which you don't see very often. This vase is the piece that you are waiting for to add to your Dahlrose collection. This is a beautiful vase and is waiting for a new home.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. I cannot detect any underglaze crazing on this vase. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections. Dimensions are below.
H: 10", Base: 3 3/4" , Rim: 5"
