Pauline Peters-Baurer

Pauline B. Peters was born in Mississippi in the May of 1867 and was active in Cincinnati from the early 1890's until at least 1900. She decorated for Rookwood pottery in 1893 and 1984 doing rather thick designs under standard glaze. She decorated under the name "Pauline Peters-Baurer" but Census shows her actual name as Pauline B. Peters". Although examples of her work are extremely rare, collector interest in her pieces is considered to be below average.
