Muncie Pottery 1929 Brown Peachskin Low Bowl (#169-9) Flower Frog (#2ss-3) Set
Muncie Pottery started production of art pottery in 1919 as the Muncie Clay Products Company. Muncie Pottery started as a subsidiary of the German-American Clay Company. Muncie Pottery like so many of the other American art pottery companies closed its doors as a victim of the depression in 1939.
Here we have a very unusual piece of Muncie Pottery that is glazed in Brown Peachskin. This is a very unique low bowl with frog insert. The perfect center piece of any collection. Beautiful glaze in a hard to find set.
Exceptional bowl set in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, possible minor crazing, no repairs, no restoration. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections. All images are original and un-edited.
Authentic Vintage Muncie Pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
